Originally from Vancouver, Washington, Marie moved to Central Florida in 2002. She graduated from the Americare School of Nursing in 2005 and worked in Oral and Maxiofacial Surgery before transitioning to general dentistry. Marie has been a part of our family here at Kissimmee Family Dentistry Since April 2007, and loves interacting with patients. Her favorite thing to do is play 80’s rock while working on patients. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her 5 dogs, traveling, and being outdoors.
Dawn has been a Dental Assistant since 1994, and employed with Kissimmee Family Dentistry almost her entire career (since 1995). She has worked with Dr. Mokris since we welcomed him to the practice and loves spending time baking goodies to bring in for her coworkers. In her spare time she loves watching her son play baseball and relaxing on cruises.
Sherry has been a Dental Assistant in Central Florida since 1982. She is originally from California and graduated from Dental Assisting School in 1981. Sherry enjoys talking to all of her patients about music (she used to be a professional musician) and spending time with her two daughters.
Margo is originally from Illinois. She moved to Florida in 1987 and has been working with Dr. Turner and Kissimmee Family Dentistry ever since. Margo considers her job as a dental assistant very rewarding, and loves being able to help others. In her spare time Margo likes to spend time with her 3 German Shepherds whom she trains and takes to competitions and trials. They are the loves of her life!
Robin has been a part of the Kissimmee Family Dentistry team since 2003, although she has been a Dental Assistant since 1982. Her favorite procedures to do with Dr. Aebli and Dr. Heap are crown preps, and when she is not working Robin enjoys reading her favorite books, The Hunger Games series. She also loves spending time with her fiancé’s 7 grandkids and watching movies.
Sarah obtained her certification for dental assisting in 2013. Sarah was born and raised right here in Central Florida. She lived in NC for a couple years while her husband was enlisted in the Marine Corp. While living there she was able to attend a course to assist in Dental Implants which was very useful moving back and being able to work with our periodontist Dr. Rosas every month. Her and her husband have a little girl and a fur-baby girl, Great Pyrenees. Sarah is thrilled to be back in Florida with her family and is so grateful to be able to continue doing what she loves by working in the dental field at Kissimmee Family Dentistry.
Natasha doubles at Kissimmee Family Dentistry as both a Business Assistant working at the front desk, and a Dental Assistant working with our surgery patients. She is originally from Canada and studied Anthropology in college. Natasha has one dog and one cat and loves playing with them and playing video games.
Melissa is a New York Native, and has been with Kissimmee Family Dentistry since 2014. She loves spending time talking to patients every day. While away from work she enjoys spending time with her daughter and studying to finish her degree.
Sherrie was born and raised in Florida and has been in the dental field for over 16 years. The last five of which she has spent being an integral part of our team at Kissimmee Family Dentistry. She began her career as a Dental Assistant but has transitioned into a scheduling coordinator which she loves.
Abbie started at Kissimmee Family Dentistry in 2014. She got her start in dentistry as a pediatric dental assistant in 2007, and has had a passion for the dental field ever since. Graduating from UCF with a Bachelors degree in Health Service Administration and Health Science, and soon to have a Master of Business Administration, she has enjoyed the transition from a clinical to an administrative role. Abbie is a Central Florida native and loves spending time outside in the Florida weather with her family and dog.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Sandra started her career as a Dental Hygienist after graduating from Palm Beach State College in 2001. Prior to that she has worked as a Dental Assistant since 1994. In 2014 she became certified to administer local anesthesia. Sandra enjoys motivating people to get healthy and partners with her husband in his personal training business. Sandra describes herself as a faith based employee with high moral and ethical standards and enjoys educating people while making them conscientious of their overall health. At work Sandra’s favorite thing to do is work with patients that suffer from anxiety, and aid them in having a relaxing dental experience.
Kathy has been practicing Dental Hygiene for 32 years, and has worked at Kissimmee Family Dentistry for the last 26. Although she was born and raised in Florida, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Armstrong State College in Savannah, Georgia. Kathy has recently become certified to administer local anesthesia. Her favorite part of being a Dental Hygienist is working with her patients, as she considers them her extended family.
Angie is originally from the island of Barbados. She worked as a Dental Assistant while going to college in Tennessee, at Mehary Dental College, to become a Dental Hygienist. She has been a Dental Hygienist for 30 years, the last 10 of which she has called Kissimmee Family Dentistry home. Angie has an infectious passion for dentistry and her greatest wish is to promote great dental hygiene in every household. She loves going on long hikes and walks, and enjoys expanding her knowledge of the dental profession.
Carol began her career as a Dental Hygienist 21 years ago, and has been an important part of Kissimmee Family Dentistry for the last 13 years. Carol loves talking to each of her patients and finding out how she can help them! When she is not working Carol enjoys going on her boat with her husband and grandchildren.
Lourdes moved to Central Florida from Puerto Rico in 1988. Ten years later she graduated from Valencia Community College with her A.A. in Dental Hygiene. She is a current member of the Greater Orlando Dental Hygiene Association and former delegate for the American Dental Hygiene Association. She has recently gone back to school.
